Vivian was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. After high school she served in the army during the Vietnam War. Vivian moved to California in 1970 and founded TYPE ETC., a successful Beverly Hills graphic design firm, which she managed until 1992. This long and successful stint as a business owner provided her with an acute insight into successful customer service.
In 1992 Vivian began her career in real estate with a strong feeling that a broad based education in real estate would give her a competitive advantage, so she studied real estate economics, finance, law and appraisal. Prior to joining Pacifica Mortgage, Vivian worked for several well known lenders including Washington Mutual and First Federal.
Vivian differentiates herself from the competition through a strong belief in buyer education, creating awareness and the ability to fully communicate the loan process to her clients in layman terms. Most important to her is treating clients as she would want to be treated. She is always accessible and extremely responsive. These traits have served Vivian well as she has an extremely loyal clientele who have followed her throughout her career.
Vivian resides in Los Angeles, is an avid gardener, recreational skier, loves restoring old things, designing and making home accessories, and practices yoga. Her favorite charity is NAMI (National Association of the Mentally Ill) which focuses on providing individuals with the tools that they need to function in society.
